Looking Ahead

BY: BRUCE BONAR, Brisbane Chamber of Commerce Board Chair, bruce@brisbanechamber.org, 415-467-7283

The Chamber is your business advocate and represents small, medium and large business organizations as well as social groups and non-profits. When developing your budget for 2020 please include the Chamber as a line item.
The future workforce is preparing for college and a career at a company just like yours. Now is the time to set aside funds in your budget for scholarships for college-bound students in 2020 as part of the Brisbane Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Recognition Program. Every dollar contributed goes directly to worthy students, none is used to administer this program.
State of the City, Chamber Reception – Wednesday, November 6th, 6:00 to 8:30 p.m.: Plan on joining us at the City Hall Community Room, 50 Park Place, to meet and interact with other business and community members in a forum where you can hear a review of 2019 from Mayor Davis and what to expect in 2020. Bring your business cards and RSVP at brisbanechamber.eventbrite.com, or e-mail rsvp@brisbanechamber.org. This event is FREE, but we need to give our host South San Francisco Scavenger a headcount.
Save the Date Wednesday, Dec. 11, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.: Chamber Members are invited to a holiday mixer at Hensley Event Resources that’s not to be missed. Enjoy light refreshments and celebrate the holiday season at our most festive event of the year.
We thank you for your ongoing support and look forward to seeing you at these upcoming chamber events. All are welcomed. Contact the Chamber office at (415) 467-7283 or by e-mail at madison@brisbanechamber.org for any questions.
