Thank you to Brisbane Baylands for hosting a warm and well attended Mix and Mingle NETwork@NitE Spring Mixer on March 20th, the first day of Spring! Spring is a busy time of year for the Brisbane Chamber. Our high school seniors are applying for financial aid, visiting different college campuses, and planning their future. Scholarship packets for high school seniors can be found on-line at http://brisbanechamber.org/scholarship. Completed packets are due on Monday, April 15th at 5pm. Eighth grade students will have the opportunity of touring Brisbane businesses and our local government to learn new ideas, experience different occupations and, hopefully, plan for their future. Our students will then present their findings at the student luncheon on May 22nd to their peers and business leaders. If your business would like to invite a small number of students to visit, please contact Madison Davis, president/CEO at madison@brisbanechamber.org. Donations Sought for Scholarships: The best investment in our society is how we mold and shape the youth of our community. The Chamber is accepting contributions for these scholarship awards.
