This year, the City of Brisbane will officially be launching its Building Efficiency Program
and will be sending out a variety of communications containing information to prepare you to meet the compliance date of May 15, 2021.
Most owners of commercial, industrial, and residential buildings in Brisbane that are 10,000 square feet or larger will need to perform annual energy and water benchmarking. This information will then need to be reported to the city in order to meet the requirements of the program. Notification letters will be mailed by February 15, 2021 to all building owners who will need to comply.
For more information, join the program launch and orientation webinar on Tuesday, February 25th from 10 am – 11 am. The orientation will cover details of the program, requirements, and how to comply. In addition, information regarding available resources and support will be provided.
