By: MADISON DAVIS, CEO/President, Brisbane Chamber of Commerce,, 415-467-7283

SMC Strong and Salesforce will make their small business grants available TODAY. It is essential that you apply immediately as the number of grants available are small compared to the demand. Facebook’s grant program is open right now and accepting applications until May 6th. In addition, Congress added more funds to the Paycheck Protection Program and the SBA EIDL program. If you did not apply last round, apply a soon as possible, funds were depleted rather quickly last round and this will be no exception. Lastly, on Tuesday April 28th, the EDD website will begin accepting unemployment requests for independent contractors, gig workers, and self-employed individuals.
