As Brisbane, the State of California and San Mateo County move into the next phases of opening up our economic and social policies I urge all of us to continue to do what is right, and to respect the needs of all our residents and businesses. Some may want to move slower within the guidelines for reopening and some to move faster within the guidelines.
These will be choices that every individual family or business will need to decide for themselves as to the level of comfort that they are able to keep themselves, their workers, and their families safe.
The State will be publishing guidelines that businesses will need to meet in order to open. These “checklists” will be subject to change as the situation changes on the ground.
The City will make every attempt to keep up with the new mandates and guidelines, and will continue to publish them on our website. With your help, we can continue to keep our community as safe as possible, and minimize risk to all of us.
But most of all Stay Brisbane! We are all in this together, so continue to help you neighbors, your family and support our local businesses.
