Small Business Grants Available

Grants of up to $50,000 are now available through the Business For All organization. Business For All is powered by Hello Alice and backed by Verizon and aims to “bring together small business owners, enterprise partners, entrepreneur organizations, policymakers, and individual consumers to uplift small businesses.
In addition to providing funding access through the grant program, Business for All will also engage small business owners and policymakers on priority issues critical to small business growth ahead of the 2020 presidential election through, Vote Small Biz. Hello Alice will host nonpartisan Business for All listening sessions with small business owners from across the country to inform a letter to both presidential candidates to help ensure they lift up the collective opinions on what business owners need to be successful in the next four years.
Incredible leaders and business experts from across industries will be supporting each Business for All Grant winner through video mentorship sessions. Plus, any business owner in the Business for All Community on can collaborate with their peers, any day of the week. Some of the mentors include: Gwyneth Paltrow, Kristen Bell, Armando Christian “Pitbull” Perez, Lisa Price, Jeff Hoffman, Phyllis Newhouse, Jean Case, and Rebecca Minkoff.
Must be a legal resident of the U.S., excluding Puerto Rico.
At least 18 years of age or older.
Must be a legal for-profit business entity based in the U.S.
Applicant must be the business owner who is the Founder and/or leading executive (President, CEO, CFO, COO, or any such other similar title.)
Selection Process:
Applications will be evaluated based on the following:
Meeting the Business for All Grant Eligibility points included in the previous section
Preference will be given to companies that have launched and need support to scale.
At least 13 out of 18 grants to business owners will go to New Majority business owners, including women, people of color, LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs, military connected business owners, and entrepreneurs with disabilities.
Degree of positive impact through business.
Demonstrated need and proposed use of funds.
Business / Entrepreneur Support:
Organizations will be nominated by business owners to be granted as well. Organizations will be nominated by business owners during the application process, and three of those demonstrating successful support to business owners will be selected by the Grants Council to be granted $10,000 each.
