Madison has lead the Chamber as its President and CEO since 2019. As a lifelong Brisbane resident, Madison has a deep understanding of both Brisbane’s community and its business landscape. She enjoys connecting businesses with the right tools and contacts to help them thrive.

Jennifer Wilder-Smith, Chairperson

Bi-rite

Jennifer Wilder-Smith is the Director of Marketing with BiRite Foodservice Distributors and has been a board member of the Brisbane Chamber of Commerce since 2013, holding various executive level positions from Secretary, Vice President, and President.  Jennifer’s involvement in the chamber includes attending monthly meetings and mixers, voting on issues involving the chamber’s P&L statements, hosting students for Brisbane’s annual Students in Business & Government program, and serving on the Brisbane Scholarship Committee.

Dan Carter, Vice Chairperson

Lyon Medical cONSTRUCTION

Daniel Carter is the Vp/co-owner of Lyon Medical Construction, a general contracting company that specializes in Hospital and medical office building projects. Daniel started with the company as an apprentice carpenter in 1989. Daniel and his wife Kelly Lyon-Carter have lived in Brisbane since 1991 and have raised 2 daughters here. Lyon Medical Construction is committed to their clients, employees and the City of Brisbane.

Tamara Palmer-Heath, treasurer

Retired

Tamara is the former Director of Financial Operations for Golden State Lumber and has served the Chamber for over a decade. Her personal motto is: live life with purpose and learn lessons. Her goal for the chamber is to facilitate a healthy business environment that serves the community well.

Sue Cochran, Secretary

Sue Cochran Construction

Sue is a General Contractor, specializing in residential remodels. An active member of the Brisbane community and longtime Brisbane resident, Sue has coached middle school Volleyball, is a Brisbane Lions Club member, and one of the founders of G3 (the Guerrilla Garden Gangsters), in addition to serving on the Brisbane Chamber Board since 2019. Her personal motto is: Life is not a dress rehearsal

Rich Borghello

Recology

Rich Borghello has been an associate of Recology since 1970. He has served in several capacities, most recently as the Commercial Manager for Recology Sunset Scavenger and Golden Gate Disposal. He is currently retired but continues to serve in a consulting and advisory capacity. Rich was born and raised in San Francisco, attending San Francisco schools, St. Ignatius and the University of San Francisco. Rich has been a Board Member of the Brisbane Chamber since 2002.

South San Francisco Scavenger

Teresa has over twenty years of experience in the solid waste and recycling field. Teresa works directly with residential and commercial customers as well as with schools and government facilities. She oversees development of all educational materials and works to improve the waste reduction and recycling habits of those who live and work in the communities served by South San Francisco Scavenger.

Andy Lopez

Golden State Lumber

Andy is the Vice President of Operations at Golden State. His job is to run the day to day operations at the Brisbane location, which includes overseeing the sales team and ensuring the company is living by their values. That means being very close partners with the local community in Brisbane.

Andy started working at Golden State Lumber 10 years ago in an entry level, customer service position and worked in many areas of the business thanks in large part, to his mangers and controller.

He keeps a large sign in his office that reads “I’m not telling you it’s going to be easy, I’m telling you that it’s going to be worth it,” which is his motto.

His hope for the Chamber is to continue to support local businesses. As a Brisbane resident, he depends on these businesses every day.

Mary is an accomplished entrepreneur, visionary, innovator, philanthropist, mentor and life-long learner. Founder and CEO of Parle Enterprises, Inc. an award winning, promotional advertising company, preferred supplier to Cisco, PG&E and several other enterprise clients. Currently, Mary is CEO / Co-Founder at Parle Innovation, a frontier technology company that aims to transform the viewing experience for fans and spectators at live events. Her company developed the eyeQ immersive smart binoculars to bring augmented reality enhancement to spectator viewing and outdoor and wildlife enthusiasts.

Jason has a primary focus on Industrial/R&D product type on the SF Peninsula with expertise on the both Agency and Occupier representation (Leasing & Sales). Jason has represented and advised the very top institutional real estate owners in the market as well as some of the biggest and well known occupier tenants in the region. Jason also has a list of prominent “private” clients too. He assists his clients in the site selection process, asset underwriting and valuations, as well as governmental approval processes. Jason has been a Brisbane Chamber Board Member for several years.

Cristian Cabrera

J Style at Home

Cristian is the CEO of J Style at Home, a custom cabinetry company and has been a member of the Brisbane Chamber Board for 3 years. His personal motto is: empathize, work hard, and have fun. His goal as board member is to keep learning about Brisbane’s awesome community and how the chamber can serve our businesses.
